Program Description
The
Medical Interpretation Services Project is statewide program to train
medical interpreters, educate health professionals in cultural
competency and the use of medical interpreters, and teach consumers
with language barriers about medical interpretation.

The 54-hour training includes:

triadic communication;

standards of practice;
